The 2008 2009 RAV4 EV is a genuine SUV with electric power. The RAV4 has all the functionality and benefits of an SUV, such as ride height, comfort and cargo space while offering a environmentally conscious fuel consumption.

Other than recharging the vehicle, the RAV4 EV doesn't require special maintenance above the gas version of the RAV4. The 2008 2009 Toyota RAV 4 EV is not recommended for towing trailers or boats. Some people have been questioned the efficiency of electric vehicles, worried about the life of the batteries. Due to normal vehicle wear and tear, the RAV4 EV batteries should be replaced every 100,000 miles.
