The new 2009 Audi A8 is the first car on the world market with a Space Frame aluminum chassis.

Considering that these are the flagship vehicles of the Audi fleet, the 2009 Audi A8 and 2009 Audi A8L are not typical luxury cars. In action, a five-speed Tiptronic transmission with Sport mode, quattro all-wheel drive, and a 40-valve, 310 horsepower V8 greet the road with gusto. Sensors placed throughout the car gather information so the Electronic Stabilization Program can automatically manage brake pressure and engine torque.

The new 2009 Audi A8 is a four door five passenger sedan that is available in two trims levels, the 4.2 and the Audi A8L. The Audi A8 comes in two trims, they are both equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 310-horsepower engine with a est. gas mileage of 17 in the city and 25 on the highway. Both also come with a standard 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

The 2009 A8 is a carryover from last year.

The newest 2009 Audi A8L has a longer-body than the 4.2 both have aluminum intensive construction a 5-speed automatic transmission and Audi's quattro all-wheel drive. New safety features include an in-trunk emergency release and an optional tire pressure monitoring systems, navigation system, heated front and rear seats and optional parking sensors warn of obstacles in the front and rear or the sedan. 18"wheels are optional on other 2009 Audi A8 standard are 17".
